Every year I say this and every year it ends up the same (after two weeks I’m back to the same rut as before, eating ice cream from the tub, binge watching Criminal Minds wondering where my life got so stuck).
This year WILL be different, I am sure of it. I made a plan you see, and I feel sure that as long as I stick to my plan good things will come of it.
I have set some lifestyle goals as well as professional. I am trying to keep my goals small enough so that I don’t break them so easily, but they will be big enough to make the difference.
1. Drink lots of water
2. Exfoliate 3x a week
3. One blog post a week
4. One chapter of my book a week (I am writing a couple so this should keep me on track)
5. Keep my money tracker in check and try not to splurge! So that I actually get to save some!
I also want to try and become a better mum, my patience can become so thin with my ADHD boy, he can be really challenging. I want to take the opportunity of the New Year to wipe the slate clean for him and try and have more patience.
I plan to do big things this year but it won’t happen overnight. If I take baby steps then things really should start coming together.
